We are a husband and wife woodworking team specializing in live edge and epoxy creations. We use locally sourced woods and non-toxic fine furniture finishes that are water resistant but still keep the feel of wood.
OUR PROCESS
1. After you purchase the table, we send you photos of possible layouts (taking any personal notes into account) and allow you an opportunity to make changes that match your vision. Or just let us take the wheel! Be as involved or un-involved as you want to be!
2. Once you approve a layout, we cut, clean and pour the epoxy. We post this step on our Instagram and will forward the video to you as well!
3. We plane, shape, sand and finish the table. From there we will record a video of the first finish application "reveal" and will post the video on Instagram, so you can see the table come alive.
4. We apply several more layers of finish and wait for the table to cure. Once it is done, we ship the table straight to you or wrap it for local pick up.
ABOUT ORDERING TABLE BASES:
Most of our shop offerings only include the table top. This leaves you the flexibility to pick a table base of any height or style that you want. We also find you can generally save money by ordering the base directly from wholesalers and attaching them yourself or sending the base to us for installation! We are happy to offer recommendations on base options and walk you through the process to attach the base to the table. Feel free to contact us for help with choosing an appropriate base!
If you do not want to attach the base yourself or if you would prefer to have threaded inserts added to the tabletop (so that you can unscrew the base from the top for moving and storage), we can help! When you order the base, ship it directly to our shop. We must have the base to be able to fit it to the table properly due to small variations from base to base. Once we're done adding the threaded inserts to the finished table top, we'll ship both the base and the table top to you from our shop. The fee for this service is only the cost of shipping the base back to you from Knoxville, TN and a small charge to cover hardware (usually around $10-$15).
